Welcome Back Everyone!

     I hope you all had a great summer – I can’t believe I’m writing the WAAG again! I am excited about the upcoming year and all the great things we will do!

 

Goodbyes:

     Sad but happy news: Ms. Clark, Mr. MacLellan and Ms. Litzenberger who were here on temporary contracts last year covering for teachers who away caring for their new babies have received permanent contracts in other schools. Exciting and busy times for them, and we wish them all the best!

 

Welcome:

     Welcome back Ms. Gadicke and Ms. Aghabarati! We missed you and are happy to have you here again.

 

     We hired three new teachers to start the year. Mrs. Charles will be starting in Grade 5 on a temporary contract and Ms. Summer will be joining the Grade 4 team on a temporary contract as well.  As well Ms. Bateman will take on the gym role until Mr Vanderlinden’s return in January. We are fortunate enough to be able to hire a teacher to support math in grades 4,5 &6. We welcome Ms. Foster to this role. Ms. Johnson is back as our EA.
