Dear DRBS Families,

• This year we have decided to have a weekly gratitude focus for students and staff at DRBS.  Each week when the grade 4 students prepare the announcements they select the focus for the week. Please take a minute to chat about this focus with your children and explore how they incorporated it into their classroom and actions this week at school.

Gratitude focus for the week:

     Recall a recent kindness that someone did for you. What is one way you can pay this kindness forward to someone else?

Reminders:

• Please be aware supervision doesn’t begin until 8:15 in the morning. Parents are responsible for supervising students who arrive before this time.
• If you are emailing a teacher your child will be away please cc the office at drrobertabondar@cbe.ab.ca
• Our amazing patrollers are beginning this week. Please be mindful of them when driving by the school.

• 2:30 Terry Fox Run – Come join us

DRBS students have been hard at work fundraising for the Terry Fox run on Wednesday September 27th. Students and supporters will meet in the back field at 2:30pm for a full school power pump up and warm up and then the run will begin.
