We are looking forward to a very exciting week at Dr. Roberta Bondar School!
On Thursday, April 30, we will be welcoming a delegation from Germany, along with representatives from Alberta Education, trustee members, and members of the Superintendent’s team. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the great work happening in our school, and we invite you to join us in extending a warm DRBS welcome.
With a number of visitors and additional buses on site, parking will be a challenge—particularly on Thursday. We kindly ask for your cooperation in avoiding the bus loop and staff parking lot for student drop-off and pick-up. As we head into a very busy month of field trips, the bus loop will continue to be heavily used, and your support helps ensure the safety of all students.

We are also excited to share a new addition to our school space. You may notice welcoming words displayed on our school windows in the many languages spoken by families in our community.
This project celebrates the rich cultural and linguistic diversity of DRBS. Our hope is that every family feels seen, valued, and welcomed when they come to our school.
We have made every effort to include all languages represented in our community. If we have unintentionally missed your family’s language, we sincerely apologize and would be happy to include it. Please contact the school office, and we will ensure it is added.
Thank you for being such an important part of our school community and for helping us create a space that reflects and celebrates everyone.
Warm regards,
Evelyne Lamontagne
