Terry Fox Run
Dr. Roberta Bondar School is getting ready for the 2025 Terry Fox School Run taking place on Friday, September 26th. This year marks 45 years since Terry Fox ran his Marathon of Hope. We’re excited to take part in this annual tradition that raises awareness and funds for cancer research, celebrates the legacy and values of Terry Fox, and promotes connection, community, and school spirit at Dr. Roberta Bondar School. Join the Fun Lunch Team!
The Fun Lunch team are looking for a few more volunteers to join our team. Once a month on a Thursday 11:15 til 1pm. Checking/organising fun lunch orders and working with the students to distribute to the correct classrooms. Police clearance is not needed as we do not go into the classrooms. Hug 'n' Go Volunteers Still Needed
Kids in tow? No problem! Hug 'n' Go shifts run during morning supervision for your DRBS kids. Younger siblings are welcome to accompany you for your shift as long as they remain safe and supervised by you. Also a reminder that Police Clearance is not mandatory for Hug 'n' Go volunteers, so don't let that deter you either! Contact drbshugandgo@gmail.com for more information or to sign up for a shift.
