We do need to address an ongoing concern about traffic during morning drop-off. Cars entering the bus zone cul-de-sac are creating delays for buses and, more importantly, posing safety risks for students. This area is designated for buses only, and vehicles should not use it for drop-off. Students exiting on the opposite side of the loop and crossing unsafely is a serious concern.

If you are driving your child(ren) to school, please help us keep mornings safe by following these guidelines:

  • Leave early – supervision begins at 8:28 a.m., and the bell rings at 8:38 a.m.
  • Use the Hug and Go – students can exit safely and walk to their doors.
  • Be courteous to our Hug and Go volunteers and follow the protocols.
  • STOP when patrols have their stop signs out.
  • DO NOT use the bus zone in front of the school for drop-off. If your child arrives after 8:43 a.m., they will need to check in at the office for a late slip.

With your cooperation, we can make mornings safer and more positive for everyone.
