It’s that time of year already!

As a school community we are giving back to others in need for the holiday season.

As in past years we will be supporting two charities.

Catherine Nicholls Gunn School Christmas Store

Each year the grade 6 class at CN Gunn collects gently used items and build a Christmas Store. Students from the school are then able to shop and purchase gifts for their families for Christmas.

For the past few years we have been the sister school to CN Gunn. Our families have generously donated gently used and new items to this cause.

Items We’re Accepting:

  • Clothing: Coats, toques, mitts, scarves, and more.
  • Holiday Décor and Home Decor
  • Toys & Games: Bring joy to children with toys, puzzles, and games.
  • Books
  • Household Items
  • Anything else you think would be a great gift this holiday season

Please bring in your items by December 10, 2024 Thank you for your generosity!"

FOOD BANK CHALLENGE

Thank you so much to those of you who have donated thus far. Our community is a very generous one!

To finish off the last two weeks of the food bank drive we have devised a little competition between classes. This will allow the students to have some fun, do some math and help a great cause. We have assigned classes specific items of need. We are asking that each student bring the item that is designed to their class and we will have a friendly competition. If you have already donated or choose not to, no problem!

The items by class are listed below:
