🏫 Aspen Landing Middle School Engagement Session
On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, we were pleased to host the Aspen Landing Middle School Open House, engagement, and Q&A session here at DRBS. The event followed an open-format design and discussion model and welcomed approximately 60–70 prospective parents and community members.
The evening included representatives from the Calgary Board of Education, Alberta Infrastructure, and the Stantec design team, as well as Chief Superintendent Joanne Pitman, Superintendent Danny Breton, Director Gary Tink, Ward Councillor John Pootmansopoulos, Trustee Patricia Bolger, and other system and community partners.
The anticipated opening date for the new Aspen Landing Middle School is September 2028. Families are encouraged to share their perspectives and feedback as part of the ongoing design and planning process.
