In celebration of the FIFA World Cup and Canada’s final group stage match against Switzerland on Wednesday, June 24th, students are encouraged to wear a jersey, traditional clothing, or colours that represent their culture and/or the national team they support. This is a day of celebrating our diversity at Dr. Roberta Bondar School and capturing the unifying spirit of the World Cup. Students are free to interpret and celebrate the day in whatever way they choose as this event is meant to be as inclusive as possible: 

• Wear a jersey or the colours of your favourite soccer team in the World Cup
• Wear a jersey of another sport you play/support
• Wear colours or traditional clothing that represent your culture 

We can’t wait to see the school full of diverse colours, jerseys, flags, and clothing from around the world!
